Development Process
Our development process is pretty straightforward: once received a submission we start with an introductory call through Google Hangouts or Skype to figure out clients’ specific needs. We ask numerous questions, provide suggestions, estimated development time and a quote.
We appreciate technical documents that outline clients’ specific needs and also understand that non-technical clients may need some suggestions and guidance.
Later on, we switch to a task-based development approach working on Asana, giving our client’s access to a task-based tool that simplifies the communication process. Once finished we present the client with a non-public subdomain based install of his site/plugin that he or she is free to review. After applying all of the changes requested we put the finished installation on the client’s hosting of choice.
What we excel at is an attention to detail. We do not propose unrealistic deadlines or accept any simplifications or problematic workarounds. Our goal is to provide something easy to manage, modify and use, taking into account future extensions as the business grows.
Technology Used
WordPress is not only a CMS: several tools facilitate website creation and speed up the development process. We use theme and plugin development frameworks, split the assets into logical and easy to reuse components, use GitHub, bitbucket or gitlab to work on the code and test our creations across multiple devices.
We’re proficient with CSS preprocessor, JavaScript libraries, code sniffer tools, and numerous WordPress based plugins.
